Simoncini Cancer Therapy
Clinical case: Prostate cancer - adenocarcinomaClinical case: Prostate cancer – adenocarcinoma
An 80-year-old patient in June 2002 is diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the prostate after a transperineal biopsy. Having refused any surgical intervention, the patient attempts hormonal therapies which must be immediately abandoned because of intolerance.
In May, 2003, I recommend that, before considering more massive interventions such as selective arteriography, a treatment with sodium bicarbonate solution at 5% administered intravenously and through urethral catheter is performed.
The treatment could turn out to be effective since the clinical condition of the patient is good. An ecographic scan performed the month after shows that there are no longer lesions of the malignant type.
